Winter War begins

 Finally ready to begin my Winter War campaign - just in time for the 85th anniversary 

Rules: Nuts! by Two Hour Wargames

Scenarios: Custom, though heavily influenced by "white Death" by TreadHead Games

This particular  scenario (which I have not named yet, is from the first days of the war. Snow is present, but not heavy yet. It represents the Finns trying to delay the Soviets as they advance up the Karjalan penninsula.  A large Soviet squad is just emerging from the woods to see a small Karjalan farm in an open space near a small (frozen) river. The Finnish goal is to:

1) Stop or at least delay the Soviets

2) Destroythe bridge and burn the farm before withdrawing

The Finnish left as viewd from the Soviets. The feature in the center is a two-man fightng position (a leader and a sniper). It is really more of a fully prepared positin, probably too good for this scenario. But I wanted to use it, so will treat it as a hasty position.
